  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups uncooked rotini pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over low heat until crispy. Set aside and reserve drippings.
  2. Slice chicken breasts thinly and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in reserved drippings until golden brown; let rest before cubing.
  3. Boil salted water in a pot, cook rotini until al dente, then drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant, then whisk in flour. Gradually add half and half and ranch seasoning; stir until smooth. Add cheese until melted.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce; gently fold in cubed chicken and chopped bacon. Serve warm.
