Ingredients
- 10 lemons
- 1 (750-ml) bottle vodka
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 2 1/2 cups sugar

- Place the lemon peels in a 2-quart pitcher and pour vodka over them. Cover and steep at room temperature for 4 days.
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan; heat until dissolved. Let cool completely.
- Mix cooled syrup with the vodka infusion and let stand covered overnight.
- Strain through a mesh strainer into bottles, discarding peels, and seal tightly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
